Forty eight minutes??? Assuming that we're talking about an eight hour shift,that is absolutely ridiculous...unless, of course,the bathrooms are a ten minute walk (each way) from an employee's work station.And how likely is that?

I'm surprise the union doesn't have a worker from the "door" union whose job it is to open and close the bathroom door for a union worker, a "toilet paper" union worker to... well, you-know-what, and "soap dispenser" union worker to dispense the soap for handwashing, and a "towel" union worker to help the autobuilder union worker wipe his or her hands. Union workers, after all, can only do their specific duty and no other.
