Thanks. I never realized that I had any hand in nominating the manifestly unacceptable Miers. I was under the impression that this nomination was the most colossal and egregious screw up in Mr. Bush’s life, not mine. Any stick the Dems hold was handed to them by Mr. Bush, not Miers’ critics.

Bushbots will never accept that Bush is the only one to blame for any of this fiasco. If Miers had ended up on the court and voted left, they would have blamed everyone except Bush.

Bottom line: President Bush screwed this whole thing up. Now is the time to fix it. We'll see if he can.
