What is this garbage all about. Did Fitzy do any homework? Ughhh!
Good catch Frogjerk.
Looks like Fitz is clueless.
Tim Russert said it was common knowledge that reporters knew Wilson's wife worked for the CIA. Therefore, reporters must be considered part of the "intelligence community."
Just because her status was classified, does not mean she was covert. This is getting ridiculous. What has this guy been doing for 2 years?
Help me...it's Friday and I'm a little burnt out. What am I missing in that paragraph?
Smells like he's covering up not going after Miller for who she was actually covering for.
Cripes, now TV Interviews, where Libby said NOTHING about Plame, are now a ground for indictment!
Fitz knows it's bogus. That's why he uses the characterization that "her affiliation with the agency was classified." It's a much broader, vaguer term. Notice that NO WHERE in the indictment is there any allegation that Libby violated either the 1917 or 1982 laws. Only that he lied about talking about Plame. If you read between the lines, Fitz is admitting that her status is ambiguous. No mention of "covert status".
Check out my post #75 - it shows why Fitz had to claim that Wilson's affiliation with the CIA was not common knowledge.
What do mean by classified Fritz?
Secret, Top Secret, For Official Use Only, Confidential, or Public Domain Information?
Hey Fritz was Plame on the NOC list Yes or NO?
You obfuscating political hack!

I've been hearing about all the people who knew Plame's CIA status, etc., etc., and how her position wasn't classified, yada yada. I've been hearing it right here on FR, and so my jaw dropped when I heard him say these words at his press conference that you cited about her status being secret and not blown.
Seems to me, either we've been the victims of conservative propaganda, or else Fitz is a real dummy (which I doubt). So, rather than just repeating mantras about her being outed in advance of the "scandal", I'm waiting to see a bit more hard evidence to that effect. Otherwise, I'll just chalk it up to the fact that I've been had.
