So far I have not heard any backlash from the Homosexual Lobby. Maybe they hope to sweep it under the rug.
I was friends with a homosexual women who complained that all her "girlfriends" kept leaving her for guys. She and some others were all upset about Anne Heche at the time, too. Bad for the cause, you know.

I have to at least respect that she freely admits it is her choice.

"Do you think I was born this way? No," she told Associated Press. "And that's probably confusing to some, because I know a lot of people believe that you are."
Um, Ms. Swoops? You better learn to duck.

How would you like to be her ex-husband? She says she wasn't born "this way", but after being married to him, she became a lesbian.

Still can't get over the shock of a WNBA player being a lesbian!Funny story, last night at the bar this came up.
Most of the folks who knew who she was were arguing that she had come out of the closet a long time ago.
Swoops did have a great line a few years back that still makes me laugh.
She was defending the WNBA about lesbianism, and she said something to the effect of "We're not all lesbians, at least half the league is straight"....and she wasn't misspeaking (some news folks quoted her, others didn't).

In his day, a lot of women would have gone for Rock Hudson. And then there was that sex change Bond Girl, what was her name, Tula - she turned a lot of heads too.
You never know.

Whoa! STOP THE PRESSES!!! Do you mean to tell me that the WNBA has lesbians playing in their league??? Unbelievable!!!Bill Simmons (ESPN's "The Sports Guy") noted that the WNBA could increase fan interest by having players grow playoff beards like in other sports.

"Do you think I was born this way? No," she told Associated Press. "And that's probably confusing to some, because I know a lot of people believe that you are."I was born a heterosexual male. Now I've decided to become a lesbian trapped inside of a man's body.
