What I am saying is that a crime is a crime and if he did nothing wrong, he didn't need to lie about it because lying about it was a crime.

I agree. For example, we know that Clinton lied. But with Libby, did he actually lie, or did he just not recall correctly? I know I couldn't recall every conversation or e-mail I wrote this year, let alone in 2003. I imagine it is even harder for someone with his type of job.

The examples given in the press conference about the indictment did sound pretty damning. But he deserves his day in court and if he can get people to believe it was a mistake, then he'll get off.
