Peugeot make the best looking cars of the three major French manufacturers, IMHO. But the fact that they dare not tread in a market as big as the USA is telling.

Every time I hear about Toyota these days, it is bad news.

Whether it is Prius recalls, or their false advertising about their 'environmentally-friendly' cars - I have had enough.

And now this French connection? Please...

It's true. I don¡¦t understand why they hesitate. Peugeot, Renault and Citroen are sold all around the world except in North America. You can drive a Renault at London, Berlin, Tokyo, Sydney or Mexico but not in New York¡K ƒ¼

According to Renault group ( Nissan-Dacia-Samsung Motors), the American market would been saturated and already too competitive. Renault being already present with Nissan they do not plan to return to it for the moment with his own brand.

Peugeot would like to return to North America before 2009. Strategies are studied. Notably with a factory.
