If the guy had intended targets and other lives were involved, they weren't there to merely commit suicide, hence the proper term of homicide bombers.

What term do you then use for bombers who leave their bombs to detonate without them? "Suicide bomber" accurately describes somebody who sets off the bomb knowing he gets blown up too.
I prefer the term "Islamokazi", a melding of "Islamic kamikazi"
