I agree about the California roll, it's a good way to introduce someone to Sushi but I always ask for the real crab.
I've had people who swear they'll never eat raw fish try Sashimi once they see it up close. The only one I don't like is either Squid or Octopus.
Here in California, I can get my fill for under $50.00.
