Poor Mo!
Not only can't she have an original thought, she can't even write an original article.
This article is pretty much a rewrite of an August 29, 2001 article. Compare what she then (2001) wrote:
http://www.skfriends.com/dating-today-and-sexuality.htm
"A thoroughly modern young lady might be found Paxiling herself, Googling her date, Bikramming her body and pondering The Offering."
with this line from today's column:
"After Googling and Bikramming to get ready for a first dinner date, a modern girl will end the evening with the Offering, an insincere bid to help pay the check."
Most of the new article is essentially a repeat of the article from four years ago, with a "revise and extend my remarks" update. The New York Times is always hospitable to those who just repeat things drivel from other columnists, but this is a first, where you get paid big bucks for repeating yourself!
Also looks like she has as hard a time getting a date now as four years ago. Maybe too much Bikramming.
Good Catch. Pass that along to the editor ;>)
