As the power of government increases, so do the intensity of the political wars over who will rule.

Our government needs to become less powerful.

---Juan Williams, a National Public Radio and Fox News analyst, compared her critics to "a far-right Donner party. They're eating their own."---

one freeper was using that same language here - hope they enjoy having juan williams on their side.

The Internet has become a vehcile for truth, popular expression and political power.

It has provided the average person in the silent majority with a means of directly communicating with and confronting the power elites in America and defnaghed the liberally controlled mass media.

And they don't like it.

Most still believe that the Federal Judiciary acts as a check on the other branches. It used to be that way.

In modern times the courts have actively aided, abetted the growth of the federal government. Most of the court's time is spent tossing out state law. It should be focused on the unconstitutional vote buying, and freedom limiting acts of Congress.

Our republic is in trouble in part because we have two legislatures, Congress and the Judiciary. Both acknowledge little limit on their powers.

The bloggers are the new FREE press. The MSM, power elite, Beltway biggies and lobbyists will never again have unfettered rule and stealth power. We the People/ the Blogs -- are turning this country around. It is a new Revolution, and wondrous to see.

"But the role of the Supreme Court has changed since then. Many Americans now view it as a kind of superlegislature, micromanaging the abortion laws of 50 states, declaring state ballot measures invalid, and redefining the powers of eminent domain."

The courts are becoming the government. soon, they will be making the laws, and there will be no need for politicians. The powers of the court need to be spelled out more clearly so we don't end up with a judicial dictatorship. They courts are supposed to uphold the law, not create the law.
