Conservatives and constitutionalists are lining up to praise W's choice of Samuel Alito.

We are in the process of assembling his opinions. It is estimated that he has been involved in about 3,500 cases, has some 300 opinions which he has written. Looks like the angry rightwing is overjoyed with Judge Alito. Bush made a good choice. It will be fun to watch the Senate hearings and see how the Dems will try to undermine Alito's nomination.

Another stealth nominee. This is no where near enough information. We need to see Bush's personal notes from his interview with Alito. Were any promises made? Did he talk to Dobson? What does he take in his coffee? Without these answers there is no way the Senate can fairly judge his candidacy!

I had my reservations about Miers, but I did think Ann went overboard.
And I still think she was wrong about Roberts.
I do have to say, though, that Alito was a GREAT pick and too bad he wasn't the first choice.
On to confirmation! I just hope the Senate GOP has the stones to use the nuke option if it becomes necessary.

Alito, as near I can tell as yet, appears to be an outstanding pick for America.
