My sister used to live in Glendale, (a big Muslim community), Glendale is an Armenian community, not a Muslim community.
But you're right about the unfriendliness there. Very "clickish" and sometimes downright rude. Once upon a time, (in the 70's) it didn't used to be that way.

Never, never trust a muslim. Their god is a liar and the father of lies.

Where in the world does this woman think it is consistent with her faith to marry a Muslim - for starters.

The OU bombing was just a prelim. God help us when the main event starts.

Hold on there, pardner...
What I took notice of is NOT criticism of Islam that's well founded and true. What I found bizarre is that this woman, supposedly devout, would ever even think of marrying a Muslim. I think the most casual reading of NT injuctions would indicate that her dash lights aren't working - or at least not working at the time (in which case, her prior devotional credibility is pretty seriously strained - IMO).

I't tend to doubt her understanding of faith
I guess she slept through the part where Christians are not to "Yoke" themselves to non-Christians in marriage.
A true Christian could never marry a muslim and expect anything short of a disaster.
To: WorkingClassFilth
Where in the world does it state a Christian cannot marry outside their faith? And what religions constitute marrying outside the faith?

I'm not familiar with the Yoke term either.

How much did you know about Islam over 20 years ago? Were you familiar with the extreme interpretations? If you were, you do understand that was not widely known. And when you look as the 'non extreme' translations, Jews and Christians are called People of the Book. The same translations embrace Christians and Jews as righteous and beloved people because that translation of the Quran recognizes Jesus as a prophet and the last messenger of God.
So, over 20 years ago, how was Laura suppose to foresee all of what has transpired?

That is from the Corinthians.
Over 20 years ago, outside the knowledge we have now, would marrying a Muslim beconsidered marrying outside the faith since the 'nonextreme' translations embraced Christians as People of the Book.
This I may add, was never brought to her attention by her own Church.

I can't for the life of me figure out why some here are shooting the messenger.
Seems the main point of the article has escaped notice in exchange for some wanting to exude moral superiority.
If only hindsight were prescient, we all could have avoided mistakes made when we were young.
