BOO HOO, Democrats.
As you can see from this article- clearly CBS is trying to influence America on how to think and feel about Alito.
Unfortunately for Democrats- Conservatives no longer roll over and play dead when challenged. Alito is our challenge and we will fight for him

I thought it was an editorial/opinion of left wing nuts.
Wow, this is supposed to be objective legal correspondent's analysis?
Pathetic state of Media these days....

he voted for a marital notice provision in an abortion law early in his career as a judge
Judge Alito voted FOR nothing of the sort. He decided NOT to strike down a law passed by a state legislature requiring marital notice before an abortion.
Judge Alito's not a legislator. He's a judge. It's a huge difference.

he might even have a say in the pending abortion rights case this term that will determine whether Congress can ban a certain type of late-term abortion procedure. And what might this certain procedure be, I wonder? Hmmmm? Not wanting babies stabbed in the neck is NOT an extreme position, CBS!

I think that this is an excellent headline. Bush gave liberals a trick and conservatives a treat for Halloween.

"But Judge Alito also brings with him to this process a universally-accepted reputation as a rock-ribbed conservative jurist who is not afraid to get out in front of the curve when it comes to the types of social issues that get the president's base foaming at the mouth."
Oh. We "foam at the mouth."
Are the moronic liberals at CBS writing for DU now?

...in order to reassure people outside of Washington that the judge is not a nasty jurist like Justice Antonin Scalia, the guy everyone thinks of when they think of Alito. Now there's some unbiased analysis. The crack(head) legal analyst at cbs is on the job. SHEESH!
