Here he is as you've never seen him before the one and only "Salsa Sharpton."
The Rev. Al Sharpton is dancing his way through a new campaign ad on behalf of Fernando Ferrer.
As salsa music blares from a boombox on the street, Sharpton shakes his hips to rev up support for Ferrer's uphill campaign against Mayor Bloomberg.
He hoofs across the screen and then appears again as the jingle declares in Spanish, "Fernando Ferrer for mayor he's the one." Sharpton never speaks in the commercial.

Rev. does street corner salsa to buck up Gotham mayoral candidate
NOVEMBER 1--With a week to go in the New York City mayoral campaign, incumbent Republican Michael Bloomberg appears to be coasting to an easy victory over Fernando Ferrer, the billionaire's Democratic challenger. But that could all change with the release of a new 15-second Ferrer television ad featuring Rev. Al Sharpton dancing. To salsa music. In the street. Across from the Flatiron Building. While the former presidential candidate does a creditable job, we're waiting to see how Howard Dean handles The Hustle in a future Ferrer spot. Click here to see Sharpton shimmying (note: it's a 1.2MB QuickTime file).

MUST WATCH. The funniest most desperate politcal move I have ever seen.
Is that one of Nagin's bus's?
No. That one appears to be moving.
Somebody was actually paid for coming up with this on purpose...............
In was watching I Love The 80's the other night and they showed a segment from the Morton Downey Show where Rev. Al got knocked on his ass backwards over a chair.
funny stuff over here
OMG ... hilarious!
Fat Al is NY's "Graft Zeppelin".
It's what happens when Ferrer is 28 points down.

Bloomberg Holds 28 Point Lead Over Ferrer
NEW YORK Mayor Michael Bloomberg holds a wide 28-point-lead over his democratic challenger Fernando Ferrer in the latest Qunnipiac Poll.
The mayor leads 59 to 31 percent among likely voters questioned by the poll.
Bloomberg leads among whites and blacks - but Ferrer has a 51 to 40 percent lead among Hispanic voters.
I'm glad I no longer reside there..
Hopefully the Latino voters in NYC are too sophisticated to be duped by the Dems by this kind of condescending crap.
Sure...
He calls that dancing?
But he's a good dancer, Finn! Who'da thunk it?
There is one song, and only one song Freddy Ferrer should have used for his campaign. I suggested this to his campaign:
FERNANDO by ABBA.
That's a first.
:)
I was a little kid when I saw that. Roy Innis was supposed to have a rematch with Al Sharpton for charity but Al never showed up.
