That's all quite true. It just seemed a little picayune to make that point to me, based on my post, which was made in a much smaller, more immediate context of responding to another poster. While agreeing completely with what you say I have to say that it would be easier to hold the Dims to a stricter adherence of quotation and logic if the WH hadn't apologized for its "16 words in the State of the Union address." At the risk of creating a redundant echo of your point, the Pubbies need to grow some spine.

I missed this first post to me.

If it's such an irrelevancy? Why have so many people gone out of their way to intentionally misquote it?

Because they can make political capital out of it and the Pubbie pols are to dumb or too weak to deal with it.

Both your posts are something I can agree with. I am afraid Our Republican allies have a tin ear. They overlook the most obvious distortions of what they say.

A little more of, "if the shoe fits wear it" attitude to the LSM, the Race Causus, and the Liberals, seems in order.

When does Reid get indicted for funneling public works projects to his sons and son in law's companies?

Communist Liberal Progressive Rats are fatally lost.

I guess that's why God came down to earth, eh?

Lord knows I used to be stuck on stupid.

(albeit not stupid enough to vote for a Rat Communist)
