The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Whatever the reason for the strange disappearance of Osama bin Laden, not seen alive since his last mocking video statement a year ago, he is no longer the face of the global "jihad" against the West.

I would have to agree with your thoughts.

If you want a good idea of the thoughts on what is happening in Paris, then you should have heard the John Rothman program last night.

You may still be able to hear it rerun on the computer, see his page at kgo.com.

For 4 hours he took calls on the Paris riots, asking why? and what if it happens here? what should be done? How do you prevent them happening in the U.S.?

His call screeners, pretty well kept the DU Underground out and had callers, with a brain to think with.

Most of the people have no clue, as to what the terrorist plans for the world.

One muslim, educated man was doing a fine job of explaining, that it is all the 'West's' fault.....then he slipped and said that it will only end, when Israel no longer exists.

The caller caught himself and tried to change what was already said. John did a good job of allowing him to go on talking, and get his entire message out.

The message was, that as long as the west supports Israel, the terrorists will continue the battle.

The general opinion was:

Let the riot alone and it will burn itself out.

That man (President) Bush will call in the National Guard.

That man, will call out the troops and kill the rioters.

Lock yourself in your house, until someone else handles it.

**About 5 pm, ABC news, said that the rioters have entered the city of Paris and the riot continues.

The government's objection to any of the properties' value was due Thursday, but Hayat's attorney, Johnny Griffin III, has yet to submit an appraisal for the final property. The properties, if submitted for bond, would be forfeited to the government if Hayat fails to return to court.

So the government would get his properties if he jumps bond, and the USA in return would get a terrorist fanatic running around intent on taking out his anger at being arrested on America and Americans in general....seem like a fair trade to anyone? Since we have him in custody, wouldn't it be prudent to keep him there and not risk his disappearance within the nation, possibly to join others of his type to do terrorist acts, or do I just expect too much?

That last link is intriguing. The mess of words at the bottom is either a ploy for Google to increase rankings, or (placing tin foil hat on my head) it could be something more sinister. I have to admit it's rather intriguing (I love a good mystery).

Here is a blurb from the writer of the page: "While the art aspect is disputable, as it is always with art, it is
truly an interactive internet concept, since it creates a semantic feedback loop via search engines."

Looking at the source code the dates themselves are not thrown in due to an automatic code so it makes the appearance of these dates within the page deliberate. Either they just updated the page, or it was made earlier and these dates specifically chosen. Same with the words contained at the bottom of the page. They are copied and pasted, or typed in - there is no coding to make the words appear automatically...

With the amount of languages thrown in there it makes it quite interesting. While there is the common sprinkling of sexually related words and such that is usual with sites trying to cheat on rankings in the search engines it is rather an odd mixture of words and like nothing I've seen previously. Most noticeable - since we've been focused on these things - are the arabic words which I can't understand. I wonder if it could be some sort of code writing? Say, for instance, every 6th or 10th word, or only words in certain languages?

I notice some obvious misspellings of English words (quite a lot of misspelled words and other interesting phrases such as (going from the bottom up); Eadweard Muybridge, washtion momorial, osamabenladen teatro lirico milan, mohamd, two italian women hostage, Golden Gate Bridge disgners, mobille benson .

That's only in the bottom 1/3 of the page. This might be a good thing for someone involved in intelligence circles (FBI, CIA, DHS, etc...) to at least take a cursory glance at. I'm sure those more familiar with decoding might be able to recognize if there is some sort of pattern.

I have no clue if this type of message might mean something or whether it's totally harmless. I will note that this is the only page on the site that I visited that contains this type of text...

Another thing: targets don't shoot back. It's one thing to be able to place accurate rounds when relaxed and comfortable. It's a completely different matter having to RETURN fire when taking fire.

Also heard on KFI.com (?) radio, a few minutes ago, the Paris rioters have in the city of Paris, burned 2 Nursery Schools and of course more cars.

Twice I have heard the report, that a man in prison at Phoenix, AZ, was killed, one report said with a cement block, he was an Israeli terrorist, strange no name has been released.

I am laughing my fool head off.

Google all the odd and mis-spelled words, the odder the better.

It has been reported to the feds, many times, but go ahead,
one of these days, someone will realize that there is a message in the words.

The one thing is, that you will find sites, that you would
not dream of searching for.

There are many pages for these words, with photos that will
leave you scared.

My computer will no longer read the actual twexus.com site, so have gotten away from even trying, but this was in cache and the photo showed, knowing that Las Vegas is in a valley and seeing the words Las Vegas, some where in that list, made me try a couple searches.

My eyes are not able to see the details in the photo.

Let me know if you break the code.

Cindy, that's quite enough for me to understand ONE of the types of threats we are facing. But again, could this be well staged misinformation?

Quite bluntly, a lowly car bomb in DC, while killing innocents in the vicinity, would not be cause for me to activate my contingency plans. It would anger me, but sadly, until I'm directly threatened I would not expend valuable supplies and resources.

Thinking out loud now:
10 or 20 lowly car bombs in 10 or 20 cities would be enough to panic the uninformed and unprepared populace. THANKS to TM, I'm neither uninformed or unprepared.

L.R., re the words that you had in your post to me, this is working one of them and is posted backwards, as I traveled google.

The first one, reminds me that there was a statement of riots in Brazil this afternoon.

The second one, reminds me of the Abu Gararb (mis-spelled) prison scandal and the underwear on the prisoners heads and the photos of the prisoners having phony male sex.
