We will keep working at it. The dems hold the levers on power here, but we are making inroads. The local newsrag is solidly behimd the rats and socialism though.

Good clip. I wish that Rush could somehow post on his website the show that he did on November 3...when it was apparent that the President had been re-elected.

I remember it being the sweetest 3 1/2 hours of sleep that I ever had, the night of November 2/3. I didn't go to bed until about 2am, hoping that someone would override that ambalance-chasing snake oil selling Breck girl, and concede. I didn't want to miss the moment, and since it was obvious that it wouldn't happen till morning, I took a "nap".

When I woke up, and it was mentioned that Flurch Munster would concede, I had the biggest s***-faced grin all day. Some Leftist at work properly guessed that I was happy about Bush getting re-elected, and went off on a tirade about higher deficits and the world still hating us, and more war, and blah blah blah. I told her, "Don't feel bad, you've still got the courts." (for now)

I've got much more to say, and will do so later, and hopefully more of us can divest ourselves long enough from the issues of the day, and the frustrations that we often have with our side, to remember what a wonderful day it was, and continues to be, that George W. Bush was re-elected as our President.

I really enjoyed this post from your thread. Just substitute Bush for Kerry and you have an actual fortune teller.

The very day Kerry gets sworn in

there will be an effort to get him out of office through any possible means. If by some unfortunate turn of events the Republicans should still be in control of Congress, look for endless investigations, harrassment and complete gridlock. This election won't end on November 2nd, 2004, even if Kerry is the uncontested winner of the popular and electoral college vote. The election will continue through the right wing press, the corporate cable news channels, and talk radio. If the right can't win the election in the voting booth, they will try to undo it over the next four years through innuendo, lies, scandal mongering, and outright defiance of the power of the executive office.
