If Al Franken decides to pursue a career in politics, he won't count on support from the religious right.

If an Al Franken falls in the woods and there is no one to hear it, does it make any noise?

I have a question for Al.

"Why are you such an a$$hole?"

Wouldn't you love to see Fanken just attacking people in the Senate? The guy's a nut job. Watching his unraveling would be great entertainment.

Part funnyman, part serious social observer, Mr. Franken has become a go-to voice for liberal America.

***

And given that Air America is swirling the bowl, Mr. Franken's "voice" is getting fainter and fainter and fainter...

This reporter needs to get the facts straight. Franken isn't running in '06. He's already said as much and the list of candidates is pretty much already determined.

The difference between Franken and Arnold, Jesse, and other such celebs is that there are actually more than, say, 10,000 people on earth who think they might be relevant, as opposed to Franken.

Interesting knee-pads piece. NOTHING at all about the Boys Club looting scandal.

Real hard-nosed reporting.

They used the words Franken and Smart in the same sentence. Major grammar error.

This idiot gets more press from the supposed possible run for senator than he deserves.

Its all PR.

I did something bad the other day. I was in a store and there were a couple of Al's books on the shelf. I am not proud of this, mind you, but I turned them around and put another book in front of them. It felt sooo good. I have NEVER done anything like that before. Shame on me!

If Al Franken decides to pursue a career in politics...........

I prefer to remember Al Franken as the whiney nasal-voiced she-man from Saturday Nite Live of the past.

Our Pal Al was just here in Portland, OR the other night, spouting off his moon-battery to an adoring crowd, and being interviewed breathlessly by the local TV news babes. I think he was trying to raise mor cash for Err Amerika...

If we plotted Al Franken on the Looney-Toon Bellcurve, who would be on the opposite side from him?

I'm thinking Ross Perot....maybe Pat Buchanan....

-In fact, some conservative evangelical Christians might pray for his defeat.-

Oh, c'mon - I hardly think prayers will be needed.

While he decides, the Harvard Lampoon alum is hard at work with The Al Franken Show, broadcast on the Air America radio network.

"Hard at Work" implies he is geting paid. I wonder what non profit organization is being robbed to accomplish this.

In Dallas, it can be heard weekdays from noon to 3 p.m. on KXEB-AM (910).

...And if you would only tune in, maybe they won't be LAST PLACE in the DFW Metroplex Arbitron ratings. Please tune in...Please!!! Don't make us steal fron the children again!!!
