Because the ratings shot up when Cooper Anderson joined him during his time slot.

CNN thinks Cooper was a star during the hurricane coverage because he got great ratings then tool

Considering Whorealdo and Shep Smith, even I watched Cooper Anderson, or is it Anderson Cooper!?

Yes, everyone enjoys watching Anderson Cooper stand sideways in a hurricane, followed by his shrieking tantrums because the hurricane has been over for five minutes and the government hasn't rebuilt the entire state as Disneyland and moved everyone into the equivalent of Trump Towers, rent free!

SURELY there are people out there that are actually qualified to report the news. Somewhere. Without shrieking and hyperventilating.

Brown refused to go on air when the shuttle was lost. Said he didn't have a suit.

Clearly he was not ready for prime time.

CNN has the drunk Cafferty to more than make up for Brown's bias.

I confess - I confess.

I have watched CNN recently. Not my choice but CNN is blaring out every time I have to wait in a doctor's office.

What's with this one channel only thing with waiting rooms?

I finally found an Ortho Doc who has Fox on.... and a whole wall devoted to 9/11 WTC pictures. His group are fine - made my broken arm feel a little better not having to watch CNN while waiting for another X-ray.

I cannot STAND Aaron Brown, mainly because I absolutely cannot listen to that annoying nasal voice.

For the money CNN must have been paying him, you'd think he could afford a handkerchief so he could blow his nose occasionally.

Why was he fired?

He flunked the Tangerine vs Melon section of his Color Differentiation Test. Cooper aced it.

I watch South Park at 10:00 p.m.(EST)when Greta is on, and I've never heard of Jerry Rivers either.

That seems like it would be a mistake.

Particularly when Brown was interviewed on the golf course saying "hey, what goes up must come down. What's the big deal? Fore!" ;-)

Using the word "storytelling" isn't necessarily bad...sometimes it is the best way to describe a complex event. One problem with broadcasting is the short time alloted: a network reporter has 2 minutes or less to give a description of who/what/when/where/why. When you add that limitation to the obvious BIAS most reporters possess, you have an answer as to why the MSM is so weak.

And the long-form programs, like 60 Minutes, have the TIME to tell a complex story--they just aren't fair and balanced. So you get a 45-minute Democrat Party commercial (or at least a 45-minute anti-conservative message).

"You feel that he's a regular person that you can trust talking to you. He brings such a passion to the storytelling that's infectious."

...wonderful fairy tales.

he was hurt by a widely reported story in 2003 that he didn't cut short a golf outing to come to work on the day the Columbia space shuttle disintegrated.
That seems like it would be a mistake...

Depends on what he was shooting at the time.

No kidding, its really no wonder Fox is so far out in front. The competition just can't hold it together. I feel like every day I turn around and CNN's changing something or firing someone!
