I love squirrels, I think they are so cute :-) And, when I said that one day to a friend of mine, he was surprised, he said "they are rodents, you are terrified of mice" I have had the pleasure of seeing a 'black squirrel' twice in my life. First one I saw was on L.I., at a friend's house, the second one was in S.C.
Stanley Park, in Vancouver BC, is full of black squirrels! It is the only place I've ever seen them.
