But they lost Algeria, didn't they? Yes, for many of the same reasons we lost Vietnam. Lack of brutality was not among the reasons they lost, though. Far from it.

Seems its spreading to other suburbs. The French police cannot handle this - they need to bring in the army.

I'm certainly enjoying seeing the french policy of appeasement blow up in their face. Guess I'm a disgrace too.

"Alot of people have been making fun of the French Army on FR, with the surrendering and the cheese, all very funny. But you have hit the nail on the head - push the French far enough and they will explode. I for one hope they do - it might go a long way toward dispelling the myth of a country scraed to fight for what's right."
Screw the French. They are traiterous scumbags who would sell their mother for oil. The french hold nothing of value and has held nothing of value for over one hundred years. They goto bed with muslims and wake up with sand fleas who are now destroying Paris. They side with IRAQ, LIBYA, and anyone else opposed to the USA. They hang out with criminals and then are surprised when their house gets burglarized.
Really though, I don't care for the frogs.

They'd best get to some serious unleashin' ... and quick. If this spreads to the central part of Paris that just might trigger it. Right now it's easy for the French to underestimate the seriousness as these suburbs are somewhat isolated and regular French citizens don't go near them (for obvious reasons). This weekend could be the break point.

Anyone care to take a stab as to when France will "sound off like they got a pair" and deal with these maggots? If not before, the minute these spread to Paris proper. Watch this weekend...it could be a tipping point.

Seems its spreading to other suburbs. Seems its impossible to get current breaking news from France. Every report we get seems to be of the "morning after" summary variety. Right now it's in the thick of Thursday night in France, Ramadan has ended, and threats were made that things would really unleash on Friday. So you'd think we'd be seeing some live video, or updates, or something by now? Hello MSM?

I believe their history shows that you are correct.
They will "rearrange the deck chairs while the ship sinks", then when the bloodshed spreads, it will be back to the traditional methods of French riot control, that is, "a whiff of grapeshot".
Of course it'll all end up being the fault of the "Anglo Saxons" (USA and Britain), somehow.

I guess it's time to dust off and tweak the old joke about 'why they plant trees along Paris streets'.
Instead of 'so the Germans have shade to march under', now it's 'so Muslims have fuel for their fires'.
It'd be funny if it weren't so sad...
