Filmmaker Michael Moore has made a career out of trashing corporations and said he doesn't own any stocks due to moral principle.
How then did author Peter Schweizer uncover IRS documents showing that Moore's very own foundation has bought stocks in some of America's largest corporations including Halliburton, other defense contractors and some of the same companies he has attacked?
In his blockbuster new book "Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy," Hoover Fellow Schweizer reveals...

Many thanks. Some folks say FR is hard on newbies. But I've found people to be more than kind. I appreciate it.

This Hollywood trash has been identified as a lying reprobate hypocrite since day one. No surprise in this finding. None at all.
The entire foundation of the liberal left is made of lies, distortions, crime, deceipt and zero morality.

Darn. Our secret is out. Michael Moore was our best kept secret, a high level operative for the VRWC. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

They must have paid off pretty well, he's not missing too many meals.

Yeah, this lying sack of fecal material also flies only in private jets and stays only in five star hotels. He then holds news conferences in one star hotels, pretending to be staying there.

We are not hard on newbies unless they are leftist America haters or genuinely braindead. You sound great so far. :)

OK...This book is gonna make great stocking stuffers for those friends of ours entertaining the virtues of conservatism. And it could also be a piece of coal for any left wing nut associates we have. Christmas shopping DONE.

Moore probably just bought this stock and others so he can sit in on Shareholders Meetings and disrupt proceedings.
All stockholders do have rights to vote, so in reality while he's a royal pain in the a, he's in a win win - his stock does well and he gets to grandstand on his liberal bs
It would also provide him with information, via the companies'annuual reports. The most vicious lies often have a small amount of truth.
It could also be that he wanted a good return on his investment. Hypocrisy can be profitable,

Peter Schweizer nailed these liberal liars beyond belief! Although we always knew Michael Moore, et al, for what they were, it's great to see Mr. Schweizer say it in print. Thank you Mr. Schweizer.

He has thousands of shares. Plus he's said more than once that he doesn't own a single share. He is a liar and a hypocrite.

"When Moore flew to London to visit people at the BBC or promote a film, he took the Concorde and stayed at the Ritz. But he also allegedly booked a room at a cheap hotel down the street where he could meet with journalists and pose as a man of humble circumstances.'"I wouldn't be surprised if President Bush has never taken the Concorde or stayed at the Ritz.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Michael Moore gross more on Fahrenheit 911 than Haliburton profited from their no-bid contracts in the Middle East? I had heard this on the radio but can't find a study that says it's true. (Boy would I love to have the exact numbers and a link to back it up)

I admit I've never seen the estate, but it was mentioned in an interview done on his behalf on WTCM-AM out of Traverse City this past summer. The shill speaking for him was speaking of his promotion of a film festival in TC featuring, surprise surprise, Moore's trashy films.
