BS.

Most of the goods we import are made by cheaper labor from third world countries and hence we pay less for it.

The vast majority of the 15 millions illegal immigrants in the US do not want in the manufacturing sector.

BS.

Oh, that's informative. I asked you to back your statement that we would be paying 3 times for our goods with out foreign "help". Forgive me for thinking you might want to give us something to back that up. BS back at ya.

Your optimistic statement about "paying less" does not include the true cost of goods. The true price of these goods includes the money taken from the US taxpayers and given to the transnational corporations and corrupt foreign governments in order to "facilitate" trade. This money comes from USAID, the Inter-American development bank,OPIC, the INF, the USTR the US department of the treasury, the EPA, the DOT, the IMF the world bank and many many other US taxpayer funded ripoffs.Oh, and don't forget the money the government pays private corporations for "technical assistance" so that countries which have nothing to offer the US, can be trained on our dollar to put us out of business. But if you told the truth about how much these imported goods are actually costing the American people, you wouldn't have any argument at all that can support "free trade".
