Intellectually, Osment can't hold a candle to Greg Smith:

Clever. I understand binary. I'm a computer programmer. I've been at it for about 00001001 years.

You cannot force a child like that to play like a typical child, not without a bad reaction. They will close down even more to what you would consider normalcy

It would be like sticking a "normal" kid with a group of Downs Syndrome kids, and expecting him to act like them

Visualize living in a world where mental retardation was the "norm", and you'll start to understand why so many child geniuses don't turn out so well

Can he find meaning in high-level German sentences?

You mean like living in a blue state?

Yoo-geun's dream is to make flying cars

It seems to me that a physics genius would dream of a higher goal? Maybe like correcting the quantum theory? Assuming he knows what that is????????

Prodigy schools? Oh, like those we have (sarcasm). It won't be long before the Orientals display their advances in education in real and lasting ways, while the NEA et al and the Dept. of Education (mis-named) struggle along with failing, socialist schools and dumb kids. Maybe we could bring the Korean kid to MIT to help them along with physics and math.

He's not a genius yet, just very very good at physics problems and other related subjects. Becoming a genius involves alot of emotional and spiritual maturity. It also helps to be a bit crazy.

From the looks of things, he's a typical 8 year old with an atypical frontal lobe.
