In spite of current articles and editorials to the contrary, in March of this year, 36 major news organizations and professional reporters' groups (including CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Reuters, The Associated Press, The Tribune Company, The Washington Post, The New York Press Club and The White House Corespondents) argued that NO CRIME had been committed in the Plame Leak case because, among other things, Valerie Plame's identity had previously been disclosed to both the Russians and the Cubans!
On March 23, 2005 these 36 "esteemed" news organizations and professional reporters' groups filed this linked legal motion which includes the following argument:
Tonight, the Fox news 'crawl' at the bottom of the screen said that sales of a book Scooter Libby wrote a while ago have increased since his indictment and subsequent resignation over the leaking of a CIA agent.
I called Fox to say they need to correct this since Libby was not indicted for leaking the name of a CIA agent.
A screen crawl may seem insignificant, but, I'm tired of the injustice and the media's intentional distortions.

Rush has lately been occasionally saying that "the media" are not in the pocket of the Democratic Party - the Democratic Party follows journalism.It is easy to see why "objective" journalism would be leftish.
Liberalism includes a de facto cabal of journalists who go along and get along with each other. The idea around which liberalism coheres is that NOTHING actually matters but PR.
- First because it is arrogant to claim, and especially arrogant to debate on the basis of a claim, of a virtue. The arrogance of claiming objectivity leads to negativity towards the people who make the country work.
- Second, because journalism's deadlines make journalism superficial compared to a book which might someday be written about whatever subject journalism treats on a given day - and most subjects journalism reports are not even worth writing a book about.

I wrote my Congressman and sent him the article. It is time for Congress to fully investigate this...
Again, I ask everyone, in the name of justice, to withhold judgment until the testimony is complete.
Mr. Fitzgerald is following the law, in pursuing the case as directed by our administration.
This is not over. Have some patience. The Dems may find that if you dig into a can of worms that you opened, you are gonna get dirty.

Wouldn't it be ironic if it was discovered during this 'investigation' that Wilson was actually the one selling the yellowcake to Saddam?

Why should it be a surprise that organized crime controls the major money sources. Hollywood, ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,TNN.
And those who control that money, control those who can be bought.
And Bill and Hillary liked being bought.
Great post, Zacs Mom. You're right that we are in a war and the enemy is within. The GOP needs to stop power-sharing and worrying about Senate etiquette. Why did they suppress the Oct. 2003 Rockefeller memo? The 'rats are following their very public playbook, and the pubbies invite more abuse with their weakness (note the Islamic rioters and the French). If you figure out how to do a spine transplant, please let me know.

I think, based upon the CIA's cries that one of the agents had been compromised, there had to be an investigation.
The investigation itself doesn't trouble me ~ it's the misrepresentation of investigation by the media and the cRats that I consider an outrage!
I heard this afternoon on The Schnitt Show on 610AM in Miami that Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, USAF (RET), has joined Major General Vallely in saying that he, too, heard that weasel Wilson refer to his wife as a CIA Officer.
LOL, hope he sees it!
As well it should!!
