I am so sorry. I really thought there might be hope for California. If they could just find the courage to TRY some of Arnold's ideas, they would probably be pleasantly surprised. They all want their share, it's O.K. to cut spending as long as its someone else's program. Just don't even talk about cutting their's. So sad.

DUDE!! It's California!! This is the state that convinces you that if you weight 10lbs more than you like, you don't jog every other day for a 2 or 3 miles for a month or two, and eat healthy (HEALTHY! instead of "according to the current fad" which they confuse as "healthy")You get it all sucked out on Tuesday, and think that you are discriminated against when you don't get the part you think you deserved, on Wednesday, and commit suicide, or leave the state on Thursday.
the NOW NOW NOW culture is SO common in, at least southern, California that rational governance doesn't have a chance until they are bankrupt for 5. Quick note. There are a LOT of things about California that I will not iterate right now, that I admired; however, my general experience in California (3 years) is exactly what I just said.

Hey, I've got an idea: why don't we all just wait until the actual results of the election tomorrow instead of throwing up our hands and crying in defeat now. This kind of talk reminds me of the 2004 presidential election where people on this site were wailing about how Bush lost a day before the actual election just because of some bad polling.
