AMCHA to Commemorate Kristallnacht at the Iranian Mission
November 9th, 6:00pm
Iranian Mission to the UN: 622 Third Ave. at 40th St.
First were unheeded words – then terrible deeds.
Hitler’s years of ranting against Jews were effectively ignored by the United States and Europe – until it was too late and six million Jews were murdered.
On Wednesday evening, November 9th at 6:00pm, the 67th anniversary of the first major Nazi anti-Semitic pogrom, Kristallnacht, congregants from many New York synagogues, local day schools, university students and survivors’ groups will gather at the Iranian Mission to the UN, 622 Third Avenue at 40th Street.
They will publicly warn that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad’s repeated threat last week to “wipe Israel off the map” should be taken as seriously as it sounds.
This commemoration/ protest is being held in collaboration with The New York Board of Rabbis and Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future.

I'm all for loudly supporting Israel's right to exist and condemning in the strongest terms the recent statements by the Iranian president, whose government is evil and insane and is plotting our destruction as well.
While there was a "condemnation" from a number of countries like Russia, I have NOT seen any action taken against this out-of-control, belicose, puppet-of-the-insane-pig-licking-Iranian-Mullahs.

For a guy who vehemently denies being one of Khomeini's hostage takers, Ahmedinejad is certainly swaggering like a terrorist punk.
