Well, I can only say what a few friends and family have told me. They were all turned off by the negative campaigns run by both candidates. Neither candidate really made himself clear on the important issues.

It all boils down to the solid Republicans and Democrats. There are going to be some folks, like my mother, who will cast their votes for Potts because they don't like either candidate. Their will be others who will turn to the Democrats because Warner has made Virginia economically sound and they hope it will continue under Kaine.

I for one have voted solidly Republican. I hope that I will wake up in the morning to a Republican Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General. :)
