Sounds like good news. The Dems would have had an unlimited cheating license if some of those measures had passed. It was bad enough in the last election.

Reform Ohio Now wanted 2-5 right? They didn't care about issue 1?

Yep. Issue 1 is a money grab by the research Universities. Taft payoff to higher ed but wouldn't put any dems in office like 2-5.

Is there anyone who believes that these issues would be on the ballot if Kerry had won Ohio? It was pure sour grapes and the people of Ohio were smart enough not to fall for it.

Thanks, this is one guy in Ohio who didn't fall for the crap of issues 2-5 (neither did his wife). I bet the liberals in this state are crying tonight and I love it!

NapkinUser Reform Ohio Now, George Soros and Peter Lewis lose.

Not just losing but going down in flames. All their pet propositions are losing with at least 63% against.

Pat yourself on the back tonight and celebrate the victory. It's always good, and is usually the case, when conservatism wins at the ballot box.

Once again, great job, Ohio.

This is an interesting night.

The Democrat governors are reelected, but when it comes to issues, the conservatives are winning.

So far, we are winning in CA also on issues.

The DUers are probably celebrating, but this isn't the victory they think it is. People are still traditional. And both NJ and Virginia already have Dem governors, so what is the difference?

I just feel sort of sorry for the property taxpayers there. They are going to get soaked bigtime by Corazine. They won't be able to afford an ice cream cone after he gets ahold of their pocketbooks.

To: I still care

On issues, America is a more conservative country than given credit for.

Unfortunately, a lot of voters are both too stupid to KNOW they're conservative, and too stupid to know which candidates truly represent those views better.

I could name 20 people I know personally who are "Yellow Dog" Democrats...yet they're anti gay marriage, pro-life, and they support the troops in Iraq. They're Dems because they were taught that Dem=Good, Republican=Bad and nothing will change their minds. And vote mindlessly for Democrats, whose views are totally opposite their own, every election day.
