FBI agents yesterday raided an office shared by former state Sen. John Lynch and a politically active developer, bringing into the open a longstanding corruption probe involving one of the state's most powerful political figures.

Agents executed a search warrant at the Tinton Falls office that Lynch, a Democrat and political mentor to former Gov. James E. McGreevey, shares with developer Jack Westlake, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the raid.

Can we please NOT use "McGreevey" and "Probed" in the same sentence?

I saw this on the front page of the Jersey paper this morning. Where was this story two days ago? They decide to release it after the election. Rats wouldn't win elections without the help of the media.

A DemocRAT Congressman (Sherrod Brown) plagiarized a letter he sent to Sen. DeWhine regarding the Iraq War. I found it on here Monday and am STILL waiting for the Cincinnati newspapers and TV stations to report on it.

I bet Jon Corzine is sitting at his kitchen table and wondering what he has just bought.

There was no story two days ago -- the FBI raided his office yesterday.

But you can't tell me they didn't have him on the radar screen prior to yesterday.

Corzine is nobody's fool. He knows what he's doing, though we can all question his sanity for choosing that path.

Almost every scandal that has surfaced in New Jersey in the last couple of years has broken in the exact same manner (McGreevey was one exception, since everyone in this state knew for years that he was as gay as the day is long).

The FBI shows up one day, raids an office, seizes records, issues subpoenas, etc. The same thing happened when all those officials (Democrat and Republican alike) down in Monmouth County were arrested last year. I don't think anyone in New Jersey had any inkling about what was going on there.

Perhaps. But the article says that this has been a year-long investigation. I'm questioning why, after a year, his office is raided and the story breaks AFTER the election.

About Corslime. Doesn't he have to be sworn in. Have a big inauguration ball, etc. etc.

He's going to live up to his reputation of a betrayer, big time!

As for McSleazy, there is so much corruption around him, it's unimaginable.
