I have finally seen the light, also.
I have berated, here in the past, Freepers who were screaming about the borders, the p/c way we are fighting the war, the Republican lack of focus and their blatent failure to act like a majority, the President failing to communicate his ideas to the American people, etal.
I too, unless there is some drastic change, will stay home. It will be the first time I will have missed voting in an election, local or national, in 44 years.
Bring on the Democrats. It will simply bring on the Second Un-Civil War sooner, rather than later.

Funny how some things don't change much ;-)
You may be right about that. Your tagline says all: The barbarians are at the gate and the Democrat Party will open it for them.
Especially when we hand them the keys.
TOTAL RINO, also. She, of course, got elected as a sympathy vote when Sonny died. Believe it or not, Sonny Bono was NOT a RINO...he was a great conservative leader, in a not-so-conservative area in Palm Springs.
Isakson is just someone that has his name associated with it. He is a good party member though.
The core of this group are the ones that sent the letter from Bass about ANWR. 30 to 40 of them met yesterday blackmailing the house leadership.
Taking out rino's in gop districts should be our top priority. Perfect example is Schwarz from Michigan. He is in a Gop district and he almost lost in the primary last year. He still keeps backstabing us. I hope Club For Growth funds his opponent next year and conservatives work to get him defeated in the primary.
Rep. Charles Bass, New Hampshire - cbass@mail.house.gov
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie.Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
I'm furious about this.
Theres no way Lisa Murkowski or Ted Stevens voted against ANWR unless there was something really wrong with it.. Alaskans would tar and feather them.. burn down their houses.. and cane them all the way to Seattle..
The 5 governors of the group:
Gov. Robert Ehrlich, Maryland
Gov. Linda Lingle, Hawaii
Gov. George Pataki, New York
Gov. Mitt Romney, Massachusetts
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, California
The worst part about this group is that it is used to defeat conservatives like Toomey.
They voted for Anwr. The list I gave you was anyone associated with the group.
But the core group is made up of about 8 senators and 40 house members. A lot of names on this list are good republicans but just have some association with the group and want to be known as a moderate.
The problem is this group is also blocking new refineries, drilling 125 miles from Florida, blocking coal production, blocking MTBE legislation.
They block everything to lower gas prices. This group wants gas prices so high you have to get off the road. They want mileage standards so high you can't drive an SUV. They want Kyoto treaty. They want to tax existing refineries.
So, what's your option? Go along to get along? Wake up.
I am glad they blocked drilling in the ANWR.
That land was set aside as a nature preserve, at the same time we were supposed to try to become energy efficient.
Have you ever seen the area planned for drilling?
Not pristine forest - just a bug-filled piece of flatland!
Google any of the top few names followed by a "D"
(example) "Olympia Snowe D"
It's telling just how much these RINO's are confused as dems.
Don't put words in my mouth. Instead get off your butt, quit whining and get to work. You don't shoot the messenger, my friend.
I will be at a Statesman Dinner tomorrow night where M Congressman Mark Foley is the Speaker. What proof do you have that he is with this group and that they are against ANWR drilling? Ted Stevens is for ANWR drilling, how does his name get put on this list?
