When you join the military, there is a chance you will go to war. No one said you should love war but you shouldn't be surprised to find yourself in the middle of one either.

This lady did not complain that her son was in a war.

She does not want his morale ruined by anti-war retards who display their crap in Veterans cemetaries, memorial parks, and who protest every Friday night at military hospitals where combat soldiers are trying to recuperate.People who attend the funerals of combat heroes who died fighting for their country and voice their protests during their funerals. People who give aid and comfort to our enemies.

Every one of us who signed that contract knew there was a slight probability that we might become involved in an armed conflict. My turn was in 1990 for Desert Storm. My Guard unit was activated and if the war had lasted another two weeks we were going to see the elephant. Prior to that we were on alert for Operation Just Cause.

Yes, we signed the contract, we did as ordered, and would have shot and killed other men if we had to. That doesn't mean we have to like it.
