Isn't Santorum the one that wants to end free weather reports from the NWS?

Supposedly Casey has lots of "gay" support. I wonder what he did to get that?

Says Rasmussen Poll

So in other words, Santorum is winning.

This really doesn't look good for Santorum. Incumbents who post only 34% don't tend to win reelection.

Does this mean there'll be a reliably pro-life Senator from PA soon?

At the risk of incurring the wrath of some on here, I seriously doubt Santorum can win this one. Yes, a year is a long time, but his popularity is at an all time low in the state, and the Casey name still carries a lot of weight.

I am wondering if Rick would be better off retiring and trying to get a job in the Administration. Who knows, maybe he could even get a Supreme Court nomination if another one comes available.

Having voted for Santorum in the past, I will withhold my vote next year. Payback time.

Sad to say but PA is almost as bad as NJ

Phila and it's close in burbs and Pittsburg have ruined the state

Worst thing is the idiots that flee Phlia and still vote for the dems

That plus vote fraud just about seals our doom here in the Keystone state

Pity as it is a great state with a lot of good features except for the damn big city idiots

I swear that the liberal dems believe that if they put out a poll that calls their guy the winner, the idiot voters will all jump on board and run with the frontrunner........I suspect the media has an image of themselves as the ones to choose the winners with thier favorable press. When will they ever learn? So glad that Bush proved them wrong. Go Rick! Don't let them defeat you before the voters get their say.

Maybe he can ask Spector to return the favor. BWAHAHAHAHA. What a LOSER Santorum is and he doesn't deserve to retain his seat.

Word around FR is that this poll is bogus, as they oversampled human beings. :-)

So long, farewell, Auf wiedersehn, good night to the traitorous supporter of Snarl'n Arlen. Where is Arlen now for you Senator? Where is the quid pro quo Senator? Your pal Imus will have nothing to do with you after your upcoming humiliation. Write us from the ash-heap of history, won't you?

Santorum gets whatever he deserves for betraying Pat Toomey. Notice how he, Bush and Rove have all been cursed politically for that act of betrayal of conservatism. When you sell out your principles, you stand for nothing, and the people won't be fooled.

The poll numbers show the political power of a pro-life, pro-gun rights Democrat plus the deep respect that so many felt for the late Governor Bob Casey, Sr. I think that Bob Casey, Jr. is going to win by a landslide. In my opinion, both Casey and Santorum are good men. Santorum is a great guy on pro-family issues but has really hurt himself by continuing support free trade in a state very hard hit by such policies. If Santorum had moved in a more pro-working families, populist direction on issues like trade, he might have had a fighting chance but now he might as well take a Cabinet post or just sit out the next couple of years.

Looks like Santorum is definitely on the 'rat/lib/left hit list - caught the last five minutes of some ABC network show tonight with some blond newsreaderette berating Santorum at a book-signing, saying she had "tracked" him there to find out why he was being a hypocrit - seems he's come out publicly for limiting awards in malpractice suits to a quarter-million dollars, but his wife had recently won such a suit and been awarded a half-million - Santorum explained that his wife was an individual not bound by what he advocated and since the law still allowed such large settlements, he couldn't object - lots of very valuable anti-Santorum propaganda courtesy of the national MSM (wonder if ABC is going to "track" Schumer to find out what his staff knows about stolen personal financial information on some Republican Maryland pol)......
