I thought goldstategop was a Canadian (born in Montreal) but immigrated south of the border. Could you confirm it?

I am of Canadian birth but an American citizen. Canada is just too socialist for me. When I returned to my birthplace last year, I thought it was a lovely city. But the taxes in Canada do have a way of shrinking a fat wallet pretty fast. I have a good life here in the States and nothing could persuade to move back to Canada. Unless it becomes a retirement haven, I just don't see ex-Canadians doing it.
