I think someone should send the Mystery Machine down to Aruba. Maybe "Old Man Smithers" did it. [Sar]
Seriously if true and a body is not found the white slavery idea should be looked into heavily.

When will stupid teenagers ever learn ... ?
When will stupid parents ever learn ... ?
My sympathy was exhausted long ago ... now, I see these "disappearances" as nothing more than hormonal incidents run amok.
Hope everything turns out o.k. ... but, if it does not ... well ... Ho Hum!

She may have dragged an island boy off to a mud hut for the publicity. Rita, Greta and Scarborough will have their contracts for missing white girls renewed. Wait a minute. Did it say she was white? Maybe I should read the story. Maybe its a boy.

Good point... Rape and murder have essentially been legalized in Aruba due to inept officials. I pray for his young girls safety.

So...nobody should ever go anywhere if they're under 18? we don't even know thet facts here. I travelled through Europe with a group when I was 16 and went to live and hike through Israel when I was 18.

I quit watching the FoxNews evening line up months ago.
It was always the same-o. Same old guests. Same old topics. Same old rants.
After seeing Greta (and others) having their nightly orgasms over the likes of Scot Peterson, etc., I turned the channel.
[Side note: One weekend when Peterson was first jailed, I made a post comment on FR that the media would go wild over Scott getting a haircut. I thought I was being facetious. The following week, Scott did get a haircut, and the media went wild with 3 days of non-stop reporting on Scott's new look. I was ROFLMAO to think that that was the most newsworthy event they could find.]

I travelled through Europe with a group when I was 16 and went to live and hike through Israel when I was 18. I have not addressed age ... only stupidity ... !
Just as we do not hear about the many thousands of responsible people in Louisiana/Mississippi who have dealt honorably and intelligently with their lives after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ... so we do not seem to hear of the many mature, responsible teenagers who travel ... wherever ...
I simply do not consider the girls who run away with cabana boys ... or who pick up some young stud in a bar and vanish after an evening of sex ... to be newsworthy. The voyeuristic obsession with this sort of thing is sordid and unnecessary.
Many responsible teenagers, including our own, have travelled widely without encountering the sordid experiences I find so tedious. Could it be the way they were brought up ... and the values they have?

I am sorry about the Michigan Teen is this recent, or the one that disappeared a year or two ago.?

I really wonder if there is not an ulterior motive with these stories. Have you noticed that since the French Riots intifada started the Natalee story has made a comeback?

Aruba is probably the safest and most civilized place in the entire Caribbean, and people hearing things like this probably think the opposite.
Of course that's not saying much, when you consider the general state of the Caribbean...

The question is, will Aruban authorities be allowed to bring the perp (assuming there's one) to justice this time, or will they have to cover for some other judge's son?
To: ichabod1
How do you or anyone else for that matter feel about the boycott?
I am favorable to it, I heard yesterday that Juran's father was cleared of all charges, nevermind he told tyhe "kids" to not say anything, "No body no time" or something similiar.
