Is a politician going to jail before getting elected a lot like illegal motion by the offensive line?

What's he doing messing around with the school board? In California, that's congressional material.

A political scientist at the University of California-Riverside says the fact that Hale's name was at the top of the ballot may have helped him get votes.Absolutely, these nonpartisan elections are the worst. Nobody knows anything about any of the candidates, so it depends whose name is first or who has a more interesting (or ethnic) name.

I am sure the voters in their wisdom knew exactly what they were doing.
This is a result of having secret ballots, no responsibility for ones actions. The names of every voter who voted for the inmate should be published, so they can proudly explain their wise choice.
Ballots were not always secret in this country.

I always thought most school board members were lying fools and thieves for the most part anyway.
He is just joining his own and being in prison will keep him from doing harm or getting raises through taxes or levies.
Or will it?

"And a prison inmate was elected to a school board Tuesday in southern California."
Figured it was CA as soon as I read the title.

I'm surprised he wasn't also a child molester.
THAT could be a big plus with some out there ... equal opportunity for perverts in "remission".
LOL!!!

Great roll model. Politically correct and very admirable of a group of degenerates who think it is cute. Sick bastards.

Finally, an honest politician.
Usually, you don't find out they're criminals until after they get into office.
