"US says new evidence of Iran nuclear arms ambition"

Been there, done that. Guess we'd better run it by Kennedy, Reid, Durbin, Dean, Pelosi, Sheehan, Moore, et al.

>>>Iran, which kept a uranium enrichment program secret for 18 years until 2003, is facing referral to the U.N. Security Council for possible sanctions after failing to convince the international community its nuclear ambitions are entirely peaceful. ..and .......

The New York Times said Iranian officials denied any knowledge of the warhead plans.<<<

Read these two sentences. Then read them again. And, yes a third time!

Then ask yourself and your friends if the New York Times seems to have any interest in preventing the next nuclear arrmagadeon?

If that doesn't get to you....re-read the first paragraph...."possible sanctions"....after 18 years? That's 1 and 8/10 frigg'in decades! Jeepers folks - the sense of urgency displayed by the UN and the anti-proliferation folks is mind boggling.

Check the "Citizens United" website...."Broken Promises, The UN at 60" is a must see - you have no idea how screwed up the U.N. is until you see this documentary.

Iranian Uranium Reserves: Only Enough for Weapons

Iran's uranium resources cannot support the peaceful program Iran says it is pursuing. However, Iran's uranium resources are more than sufficient to support a nuclear weapons capability. The Gachin mine's output (~21 tonnes/yr) alone could supply enough uranium, if enriched, to produce ~4 nuclear weapons/yr.
