Gore: Global Warming More Serious Than Terrorism

The United States has been waging a war on international terrorism for more than four years, but what does Al Gore think is a more serious issue?

Global warming.

In in interview with Australia's The Age, the 2000 Democratic presidential nominee and former senator drew parallels between those who dispute global warming, and its investment implications, with Neville Chamberlain and others who wanted to appease the Nazis before World War II.

Winston Churchill warned in the 1930s that a storm was gathering and democratic nations would be forced to "sip from the bitter cup" until they reasserted their moral authority.

"The time of half-measure has passed. We are entering a period of consequences," says Gore, quoting Churchill.

"What changed in the U.S. with Hurricane Katrina was a feeling that we have entered a period of consequences and that bitter cup will be offered to us again and again until we exert our moral authority and respond appropriately," he says. "I don't want to diminish the threat of terrorism at all, it is extremely serious, but on a long-term global basis, global warming is the most serious problem we are facing."

Gore is the co-founder and chairman of the British-based sustainable investing company Generation Investment.

With the amount of hot air Gore shoots into the atmosphere, we are lucky that palm trees don't start growing in the Arctic.

The myth of man-caused global warming is a fabrication meant to hog-tie the economy of the United States before we are able to develop alternative energy economies.

Hahahahahaha. This guy is hilarious. We need more of him and Howard Dean running their mouths. We just need to stick a microphone in front of their pie holes and let them go to town. LOL.

We need that guy that says, "Oh not this sh** again!".

I can't understand why the gimmiecrats say things like this. Perhaps they think that the government indoctrination centers (public schools) have dumbed down the voters to the point that all clear thinking on the part of the citizenry has evaporated. Each idiotic statement further alienates voters with IQs over 100 -save the college professors and trial lawyers.

IMHO, Algore is more of a threat to the world !!

The man has lost his mind before the entire world. How good is that??

Every time he opens his mouth, people say "Thank God" I voted for George W. Bush!!

Right you are.

Junk science in, junk science out!!

Weather patterns come and go in cycles. If you don't believe me, just check the Farmers Almanac. That is how they produce their predictions. End of story.

Never underestimate the KKKling Tongs' Absolute ruthlessness when what's at stake is that pair's conversion of unearned political power and others' property to personal perks and to their own and predatory pals' profligate profiteering.

[NB: The net worth of Web Hubbell's daughter's, Chelsea Kling Tong's, Peking/Moscow/Rich/Soros-set-up Trust Account is now estimated to top Four Billion US Dollars]

There's not a shred of doubt Gore's a certifiable dullard. And heaps of evidence to suggest the poor dumb bastard is also a poofter.

I've noticed the recent space of global warming movies and documentaries. There's something about heat that drives liberals nuts!

Yep, I was a senior in HS. We went to school 1 day after Christmas break, and were off for the rest of the month. Coal miners were on strike, there was a natural gas shortage, and since all county schools were heated with either gas or coal, all were shut down. Last day of school here is normally around May 25th, I graduated on June 19th. We even went to school on Saturdays to make up some days. I forgot about the flood in April, that was a doozy. I spent January thawing water pipes so our cows would have water to drink, and spent all of August hauling water from a nearby creek so our cows would have water, until we had a well dug. (You don't own a dairy farm, it owns YOU...)

I swore after January that year no matter how hot it got, I would NEVER complain about the heat. I have kept that promise....)

The Sun, Al Gore's favorite planet, causes global warming. I am sure glad it warmed and melted the ice from the last ice age, else NYC would be 2 miles under.
