Hey, how many of you remember "Acid Rain?"

Yeah, I remember it. I also remember back in the '70s the talk was of a new "Ice Age". January, 1977 was one COLD month here in VA, followed by an August that set 21 record HIGH temperatures. Musta been that global warming, even back then....

Who knew?

Actually, my sister-in-law still believes in "acid rain."

I never had the heart to break the reality to her, but that is caused by Pine Needles!

I remember that winter, as well. The kids didn't go to school the month of January. In April we had the Great Flood of '77. The kids missed that month of school, too, except April 1st. August was so hot that I almost freaked when my electric bill was above $40.
