I guess the ACLU got them to change their original story about being thrown in a cage with dragons. McCain and the Leftist Dems who are champions of civil rights for our enemies ought to have to appear in public with these two winners.

Of course we have to believe these men because, WHY would a terrorist lie?!

Those would be Uday's lions and the cages are still here. The lions were here till late 2003 but the military had no access to them at all and the idea they would have been thrown in the cage with them is ludicrous.

"The lions came running toward me and they pulled me out and shut the door."
THAT'S pretty creative. (And darn funny, too).

A very active imagination! Islam includes Adam and Eve and the Flood does it include Daniel and the Lions Den?

I think we're allowed to put it in their permanent record, too.

"One of the soldiers would open the door, and two soldiers would push me in. The lions came running toward me and they pulled me out and shut the door. I completely lost consciousness.''
From the rapid, excessive loss of bodily fluids, no doubt [aka, that scared the p*ss out of them.]
[I smell lawsuit. These guys are claiming abuse and hoping to cash in bigtime.]

Thanks - that would have driven me nuts.
I'm going to have to make my own screen capture of that scene.

Not having enough room to to run, a lion would more likely lunge (at least 20 feet) across such a small space not leaving any time to close the door.
A dozen men could not close that door...

And here's the moment, preserved for all time...

This is the old 'Good Cop, Hungry Lion' technique.
It's kind of like 'Good Cop, Bad Cop', only used with those really hard to crack businessmen that are more hardened to interrogation than any mere terrorist.

ACLU: "Lions?!? You can't pen a prisoner with lions!!"
Army: "But they were the Detroit Lions."
ACLU: "Oh, is that all? No problem then, there's no threat. Carry on."

Lies all Lies. If they'd been caged with real lions, they'd be lion excrement by now. As it is, they're just "llallahllallah" excrement.
