* N.J. investigators Allege Payoffs in Exchange for Favors
Nov 16, 2005 8:39 am US/Eastern ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) New Jersey investigators want a construction company banned from doing business with Atlantic City casinos because its owners allegedly lied about their dealings with Bernard Kerik, the former New York police commissioner and one-time nominee for Homeland Security secretary.

Anyone who considers Rudy Giuliani a viable GOP candidate for the White House in 2008 should understand that Rudy was the one who recommended this crooked mediocrity for Homeland Security chief.
The fact that they're a construction company in New Jersey is all the "information" you need to establish their mob connection.
The other truism you can take to the bank is that Bob Torricelli gets paid. Doesn't matter what the job, or what other politicians get their mitts on - Bob Torricelli gets paid. Paid twice.
NJ investigators? Isn't that an oxymoron?
New Jersey just elected the biggest crook in history as their governor.
I hope they don't expect the rest of the country to take them seriously on any criminal investigation of Kerik or anyone else.
Even worse..he now works for the the King of Jordan.
Why else would Rudy have nominated this sleaze to be Homeland Security Czar?
