Dennis Hopper is a republican.

"or maybe that was Hedda Hopper?"

Or William Hopper, her son. He played detective Paul Drake on the Perry Mason show.

Hopper has been very busy as both a producer and actor for quite a while.

He's been in 31 films or TV series since 2000.

A pretty good show. It really shows the hoops our people have to jump through just to get something done. As for tonight's show, I had my hand on the remote ready to dump it, but I'll give them a chance. Law and Order I watched for a decade before I turned it off in the middle of an episode and haven't watched any of them since.

I thought "E-Ring" was an OK show until this episode portraying "Christian extremists" taking over a mosque, holding hostages, and blowing up government rescuers. Based on the portrayal of the angry "Christian" captors, none of the writers or producers have actually ever met any real Christians. Disturbing, but hardly surprising.

"Cold Blooded murder or Minutemen vigilantes on the U.S. border?"

NBC is on a roll tonight.

He lives near me & he is not a Republican. He even has a gigantic NO WAR sign painted on his gate.

I think he was a character in one of the early "24" series too.

I guess In have to take that back. He is a registered republican....but he still had that big NO WAR sign on his compound gate.

Now, I have to go watch Blue Velvet.....for the 100th time.

I watched it all the time, until now. I am furious that a show that was pro-military has come out with this crappy plot!

Hopper's place is a block from Golds Gym in Venice, CA.
He has at least 2 lots surrounded by industrial gates & fencing with barbed wire. I live about 4 miles away, but pass by his place often.

It's been a great show so far, taking the sting out of losing JAG and waiting for "24". But tonight's plot is so ridiculous I skipped it. And two weeks ago a subplot had a journalist being lectured and excoriated for leaking the name of a female CIA agent [wonder where that idea came from? - nudge-nudge]. If the show dgenerates into a West Wing with military iniforms I'll dump it in a heart-beat.

Two of the last three Law & Orders have been stinkers. The Minutemen prosecuted tonight, and "Christians" resorting to bombs and terrorism to keep a "loving husband" [Schaivo?] from "allowing his wife to die with dignity." A few more liberal wet-dreams as plots and I am through with this once-great show.

I was a fan of the show since the start of the season. I usually visit the website for the show to get an idea for the weeks episode.

This week I made the decision to watch "Stacked" live instead of taped.

I have tried to like this program, but they are just so PC. I give up. Last nights episode was the last one I'll watch.

Can you imagine if they made Back to the Future today, they would have had to change that scene with Doc and the terrorists.....probably would have made them evil Minutemen or something.
