Australian model to walk free despite guilty decision

A Bali court has found Australian model Michelle Leslie guilty of using ecstasy and sentenced her to three months jail, a period of custody she has already served.

Leslie is expected to be released from prison as early as tonight and will leave Indonesia possibly tomorrow.

This is from Reuters: "Media reports have said Leslie, in her mid-20s, converted to Islam after she was arrested, and court documents had identified her as Muslim."

Just as there are no athiests in foxholes, there are no non-Muslims in Muslim jails.

Leslie's story has changed several times during her time in custody - changing to whichever story seems to be most likely to get her released as possible. I wouldn't take her conversion all that seriously.

The problem for her now is if she turns away from her muslim conversion, she will be killed by some muslim nut.

She may think she escaped the prison sentence, but she has a life sentence and probably doesn`t even know it.
