GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
I went to bed before the vote but it would appear that we have voted to keep the troops in Iraq overwhelmingly. Good!

Yeah - his name is Peter Hoekstra. I just him. He was interviewed on FNC's, "Special Report" normally hosted by Brit Hume but in this case Jim Angle was guest hosting.

I fell asleep in bed before the final vote was taken. I did get to see Kucinich blow up on the floor with his screaming rant - it was classic.
I didn't watch the whole show. Did Murtha break down in tears again?
You would think that this "put up or shut up" vote of 403-3, would silence the dims, but we all know better.
They were crying last night - Kucinich in particular - that the resolution was a fraud and he wouldnt vote, aye.
I was able to witness Murtha speak before the first vote and he was not crying. He was somewhat jovial, in fact.
I fell asleep before the second round of voting, so I dont know if Murtha & the others got up to make another round of speeches.
Another classic - Jim McDermott got up to speak and he started talking about how Arabs dont want to sign a piece of paper - they settle differences another way. He started going on and on about some story/example.......I would like to hear someone give a good accounting of McDermott's speech.

As for Andrea Mitchell saying on Imus yesterday that the WH called Murtha a coward, well, we all know she 'mispeaks' from time to time.
