I'm NOT going to be doing Thanksgiving this year for the first time in a decade. But type A that I am, I'm doing my second practice run on pumpkin pies this afternoon. And, in a moment of weekness, I volunteered to do the Christmas open house.... somewhere between 35 and 48 people. I'm already stressing out on that and this column was wonderful. thanks for posting it.

That's not weakness. It's temporary insanity. ; ~ )
Tip : Don't knock yourself out over the pie. Most people are so satiated after dinner, that anything even resembling pumpkin pie is acceptable. Especially if it's covered in whipped cream.
