No question about it. Iran would love to put one in here. Newt is right about the rise of Islamo Fascism from Constantinople to Jakarta being a parallel to the rise of fascism in Europe prior to WW II.
This time though the USA will not isolate itself. Iran and Syria are next to get in l9ine with International law regarding the harboring of terrorists or we will go into Iran after them. Iran doesn't think we will , and is sending arms and explosives into Iraq. If they do not stop , the USA and its Alllies will roll them up and in the process destroy their nuclear program.
That was one the reasons why we went in Iraq.. Instead of ignoring and the problem like we did with Germany in the 1930's, we may have solved the problem a few losses of life imho..
