“Sex work is work and a profession, sex workers are workers and must be recognized as such.” If prostitution is legalized, the government can start subsidizing it, which opens new opportunities for the welfare states in its care for all our needs, from the cradle to the grave.
I simply cannot believe the mindset of these people. It isn't enough to ask that prostitution be legalized, but they want it FUNDED by the government? Do they expect taxpayers to pay them disability when they contract an STD? If a prostitute is too ugly to get any clients, will she be able to collect unemployment?

It is frequently said on this site that a country that can't control its borders will not be a country for very long. I don't disagree, but I would add that a country that publicly funds pocket-pool is in even more trouble.
