ALBUQUERQUE -- KRQE News 13 has been working for months to bring you a story tonight about a hidden Scientology compound in New Mexico. Today, the church worked just as hard to stop anyone from seeing that report.
Today, the Church of Spiritual Technology flew their administrator to Albuquerque from Los Angeles. She visited the station with an attorney in an attempt to stop the story from airing.
The story is about a compound hidden deep in a remote part (Trementina) of New Mexico. Among other interesting features are markings in the landscape that can only be seen from the air and a vault built into a mountain side.
In the meantime, the Church of Spiritual Technology is doing all it can to stop this story from hitting the airwaves.
They and their attorney sat down with News 13 to try to convince us this story should stay private.
They also sought the help of a powerful New Mexican lawmaker, who called News 13 to say the scientologists had been "good neighbors" in San Miguel County, and encouraged the station not to air the story.
The church administrator says the organization has also called the president of KRQE-TVs parent corporation, Emmis Communications, to get him to put a halt to the story.
KRQE News 13 will air the story as planned tonight at 10 p.m..
"Tom Cruise, please come out of the closet"
LOL
"Tom Cruise, come out of the closet!" (South Park)
It sounds like Area 52.
Damn it, how did you beat me to it? LOL
Why is it they are so secretive. My goodness they sue people over everything.
Litigious buggers: or do they sue anyone who says that?
TC: "I'm not in the closet."
Do ya go to this church?
SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS
I'll never be able to hear about Scientology without thinking of that! And cracking up all over again!
IF they aren't running terrorist camps, what's the big problem? Islam is the enemy.
I am a new watcher of South Park(my younger son wonders how in the world I let South Park go unviewed all these years)...that episode with Tom Cruise in the closet, ,was hysterical...I love South Park and since I have seen only a few episodes, I just know, my son now knows what he will buy me for Christmas...all the South Park DVDs...
Yup. Travolta, too.
Yeah, but they will tell you the secret for $240.00. LOL!
ping. Scientology and South Park
Made me think of the fortress of solitude.
All your clam are belong to us. Now fork over your dough!
