Hampstead is pretty inner city no, albeit not has inner city as Chelsea and that other place, whose name escapes me. I thought you were referring to my post about Nassau, not London. LOL. Nassau will always have Manhasset.

I don't think your knowledge of At one time, Hampstead was the outer suburbs of London and the Heath was where "footpads" and other villains crept about at night. Both Wilkey Collins ( "THE LADY IN WHITE" ) and Dickens used the Heath and Hampstead in their books. So did Sir Arthur Connan Doyle, of I'm not mistaken.
