Dallas sucks. I was raised there. The city gov't. sucks and everything about it sucks. I moved to Tarrant Co. (Ft. Worth, etc.) as soon as I could drive. I still have to go to Dallas, but only when I HAVE to go to Dallas. It's a racist (by minorities) city, and I'd never recommend any business or family move there. It is as good as lost. The suburbs are filling up. I'm moving to the country as soon as I can. Socialism sucks, too, obviously.
That rot about people in small towns being friendlier? Don't buy it. I had more friends after 6 months in the metroplex than in 10 years in the country.
